Annual Meetings 2026

St Mary’s will be holding our Meeting to elect churchwardens and our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) as part of our 10.30am service of worship on Sunday 10 May. This is an important event in the life of our Church Family as we receive reports on what happened in 2025 and also elect people into our leadership team including our churchwardens and members of the church council.

Elections

There will be elections to the following posts at the meetings on 10 May 2026

  • Churchwardens – Two vacancies
  • Deanery Synod – Five vacancies for three years to 2029
  • PCC – Four vacancies for three years to 2029

Notice is hereby given of:

Notice of the meetings must be displayed on or near the principal door of every Church in the Parish and every building licensed for public worship and the period for display must include the last two Sundays before the day of the meeting. A physical copy of the notice was so displayed on 11 March 2026 and the notices can also be downloaded using the links above.
