Our Vision at St Mary’s is:

Love God, Serve People, Make Disciples

We aspire to be a people:

• Who love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and care for his creation,
• Who serve people, loving our neighbour as we love ourselves and,
• Who make disciples of all peoples, baptizing them and teaching them to follow Christ

This encapsulates the first and second commandments; Jesus’ description of the greatest commandments in Mark 12:28-31 and his great commission in Matthew 28:18-20.

Mission Action Plan 2020-2025

St Mary’s approved a Mission Action Plan in March 2020 and England promptly went into lockdown (the same PCC meeting that approved the Mission Action Plan also raised contingency planning for Covid-19).
