Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting this year will be on Monday 18th April at 8pm when we will review all that has happened at St Mary’s in 2015 and elect people to serve on the church leadership (PCC) for next three years.
We are also revising the St. Mary’s Electoral Roll. If you are not already on it, please do join – you will need to be on the electoral roll to nominate or second someone for election to the PCC (and you will need to have been on the electoral roll for six months by 18 April to be elected to the PCC). The forms are on the Welcome Desk.
12 people from our electoral roll serve on the Parochial Church Council for a 3 year period each, with 4 standing down each APCM. One PCC member has also moved away. There are therefore four vacancies for a three year term on the PCC and one vacancy for a two year term. Do consider standing yourself or think and pray about who you would like to nominate (the nomination forms are on the PCC notice board). We need a wide representation of people from the St. Mary’s community in the church leadership.
